Inclaria

About

Inclaria is published by Johann Flipo, sole trader. This page states who decides, what the tool does and what a third party can verify.

Who publishes Inclaria

Johann Flipo, founder and publisher. Inclaria is a sole trader business registered in France, and its legal notice carries the full identity and registration number.

There is no hidden team behind a corporate we. Product decisions, measurement method and published text come from one person, which makes editorial responsibility straightforward to establish.

What Inclaria does, and what it does not

Inclaria analyses a site against WCAG 2.2 criteria and the European standard EN 301 549, monitors regressions over time and produces the accessibility statement required by the European Accessibility Act.

No automated tool makes a website compliant. An engine detects a portion of the criteria, roughly a third according to sector analyses; the rest requires human testing. Inclaria measures continuously and flags what breaks, it does not replace an audit carried out by a person.

What our claims rest on

We publish a study on accessibility in French e-commerce. The starting panel was 102 retailers; 55 could actually be analysed, and 94.5% of those, 52 out of 55, show at least one critical or serious non-conformity on their homepage.

That figure is always stated against the 55 sites analysed, never against the 102 in the starting panel, even where the second phrasing would look stronger. An internal rule enforces this in every published text.
