Visible focus
The visual indicator showing which element has keyboard focus. It must stay clearly perceptible.
When navigating with the keyboard, a focus indicator marks the active element, for example an outline around a link or button. Removing this indicator makes keyboard navigation unusable.
WCAG require a visible focus and, in version 2.2, a minimum focus visibility so it is not hidden by other elements.
