Accessibility and public tenders: a competitive edge
Accessibility is increasingly required in tenders. Being able to meet it opens markets, failing to meet it closes them.
Public buyers and large accounts increasingly include accessibility in their criteria. For a supplier, it has become a genuine commercial argument.
A requirement in tenders
Many specifications now require conformance with WCAG or the EN 301 549 standard. Being unable to demonstrate it rules you out of a contract from the start.
Proof rather than promise
Being able to present an honest accessibility statement and documented monitoring reassures the buyer. That is the difference between claiming and proving.
A virtuous circle
Investing in accessibility widens the audience, improves search ranking and unlocks demanding markets. The cost of compliance turns into a competitive advantage.
