Accessibility audit
The evaluation of a site against accessibility criteria. It combines automated tests and manual review.
An accessibility audit measures the gap between a site and a standard such as WCAG 2.2 AA. It identifies issues, explains them and ranks them by impact.
Automated and manual
Automated tests quickly detect a meaningful share of issues (contrast, missing alternatives, form labels). A manual review remains necessary for criteria that require human judgement, such as whether a text alternative is relevant or whether navigation is logical.
